Vice President of Software Development
Prashant leads the architecture and development of the IBIS platform. He has 15 years experience working with technology as a software developer, director and consultant. Prior to joining Bridgevine, Prashant was a Microsoft technologies consultant focusing on architecture, development and management of development teams. Prashant held senior technical leadership positions at CareKeeper Software Inc., owned by Health Systems Solutions, Inc., and Compris Technologies Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of NCR Corporation. He has experience in multi-tier application development, Internet/intranet application design in insurance, hospitality, retail, health care, real estate, telecommunications and e-sourcing. Prashant has successfully managed projects involving in-house, outsourced and offshore development resources. Prashant recalls what originally lured him to join Bridgevine. “I was excited to be able to build our software platform from the ground up. And it’s still a challenge everyday. The platform is very complex. It requires that you really think through each and everything change or alteration that you make before you perform it. We’re in the process of adding many new, exciting features and services so this is an exciting time for us as a company.” He attributes the rocketing growth to leadership. “We’re successful today because of the great leadership here at Bridgevine. I know that I’ve certainly learned a great deal from all of the executives here. Bridgevine is a fast paced environment and a fun place to work. There are new challenges to face and tackle everyday. We have a strong business model and the company is definitely headed in the right direction.” “We need to prove that our business model and that the strategy really does work. It will take a lot of work from a lot of people but we can make it happen. We need to continue to work both hard and smart.” It makes since that when not dealing with the complex issues regarding the company’s software platform that Prashant would resign into woods to quench his love of nature and wildlife photography. He and his family also love to travel and explore the great outdoors together. |
