Featured Profile Eric Director of Provider Development What intrigued you about Bridgevine? I had to get back to a Start Up environment. What is the best part about working for Bridgevine? Having an impact on the business every day. How has your career grown since you joined Bridgevine? Working in this type of environment, with this group of people, I learn something new every day. Finish this sentence: Bridgevine is...? You want answers? You want the truth? You can't handle the truth!
We live in a world that needs Telco, and those Telco sales have to be made through channels like the one I run. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt.? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Telco and you curse the Provider Development organization. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know: that MSO’s termination, while tragic, would save money. And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, will help this company achieve it’s goals.
You don't want the truth because deep down, in places you don't talk about at CTAM meetings, you want me on this vertical. You need me on this vertical. In Telco, We use words like Higher Commissions and Install Rate... We use these words as the backbone to a life spent building something we can be proud of. You use them as a punch line.
I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the vertical that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it! I would rather you just said thank you and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a phone and stand a post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to! Tell us one little known fact about yourself that the world doesn't know? I am a proud alumnus of the University of Florida, home to the 1996, 2006 and 2008 Football National Champions and the 2006 and 2007 Basketball National Champions (Ok, so anybody who knows me knows this, but it’s still true!! GO GATORS!!!) |
